On
this website you can become acquainted with the paintings of two artists
from Jordan: Kassim Al-Refai and Khaled
Atieh. In an abstract way they express their view on society by an
amazing use of colours and shapes - on canvas and paper, in oil, acrylics,
ink, and aquarelle. Through these paintings Kassim and Khaled show their
development in a culture which is a mystery to many of us. Tied by the
strict regulations of Islam not all of their works can be exhibited in
their own country. Jordan-Art enables Kassim and Khaled to show their
creations to a broader audience.
The artworks exhibited here will be replaced regularly. So it's worthwhile re-visiting this website. You are always welcome.
